Oneonta High School

Committed to Excellence for our Students and Community

OHS Welcome

  • Welcome to the Oneonta High School website.  We hope you will find this site useful in your search for information about our school and throughout the year as you are involved in your child's educational experiences.

Our system is “committed to excellence” in all areas of education.  We strive to provide students with opportunities to grow academically, athletically, and through the arts.  I am honored and blessed to have the opportunity to serve a school system that is rich in tradition and community pride.

My wife and I are excited that our two children will have the same opportunities that we were afforded at Oneonta City Schools. We at OHS, are fortunate to offer a variety of academic classes, electives, athletic teams, clubs, fine arts programs, and organizations to help students become successful and productive students. Our faculty and staff is dedicated to ensuring that each student will reach his or her maximum potential.

It is important that we as a school work with parents and guardians to set clear expectations for student success. I am grateful for the opportunity to give back to the school and community that did so much for my life.  I look forward to working with each of you!
