Welcome to Oneonta City Schools

Why Oneonta City Schools?

At Oneonta City Schools, we believe every student deserves a place where they are known, challenged, supported, and prepared for what comes next. Our district combines the opportunities and programs families expect from a larger school system with the relationships and sense of community that make Oneonta special.

From strong academics and innovative career and technical education programs to athletics, fine arts, extracurricular activities, and student support services, we work to provide opportunities for every student to discover their strengths and pursue their goals. Our dedicated teachers and staff know that student success is about more than achievement—it is about helping young people grow, belong, and thrive.

We invite you to discover what it means to be part of Oneonta City Schools.
