Oneonta City Schools

Committed to Excellence for our Students and Community

OCS Welcome

  • Welcome to the Oneonta City Schools website.  We hope you will find this site useful in your search for information about our school district and throughout the year as you are involved in your child's educational experiences.

Our system is “committed to excellence” in all areas of education.  We strive to provide opportunities to grow academically, athletically, and through the arts.  Our total child approach will allow our students to become College and/or Career Ready.

We recognize that collaboration with parents and educators is vital to our students' success.  The Oneonta City community continuously demonstrates a commitment to education and high expectations that drive our quest for excellence in education.  Therefore, it is our desire to provide a website that addresses these needs.  If you need personal assistance in locating information, please do not hesitate to contact our office.  Thank you again for visiting our website.

    Sincerely,

    Mr. Daniel R. Smith, Superintendent
