The next OCS Regular Board Meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 26, 2020, at 5:30 pm in the high school library.
Phase 2 School Schedule
The end of the first grading period for students will be on Friday, October 9th. Mr. Smith asks that parents have discussions with their students regarding class assignments, course tests and anything related to a student’s grade for each class.
Schools will be closed on October 12th and 13th for Fall Break.
On Wednesday, October 14th, students will begin the second grading period for the first semester. On this date, as we move forward into phase two of the current school year we will operate with the following.
- For Oneonta Elementary School = the students will continue to follow the current schedule with no changes.
- For Oneonta Middle School and Oneonta High School = students who are presently attending school two days per week via the hybrid schedule will attend school on Tuesdays through Fridays. Students who are participating in remote learning will continue to do so.
- All students in grades Kindergarten through 12 will continue to participate in remote learning on Mondays.
- We will follow this schedule for the remainder of the first semester.

Chromebook fees are due by October 30, 2020 for students in grades 6-12. Fees are $40 for the first child in the household, and $25 for each additional child.
See your local school principal for a waiver form for financial hardship.
Free Breakfast and Lunch
Beginning September 2, 2020, all OCS students will be able to eat breakfast and lunch free of charge. This will continue until December 18. We still need all parents to complete their Free and Reduced lunch applications as soon as possible. The application is located on the Child Nutrition page of the school and district websites.
Beginning on September 14, full-time remote learners may pick up 4 days of breakfast and lunch items. Pick up will be in the back of the school, at the lunchroom doors, between the hours of 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. each Monday.
